The village school was built in 1859. The picture on the left was taken in the late 19th or early 20th century.
The picture bottom left was taken in the early part of the 20th century and shows the school house in the background. Below, the school as it is today and from this angle, shows little change apart from the extension probably added in the late 1940's or early 1950's.
